3. Not enough Vitamin D
Low levels of vitamin D can lead to a number of health problems, including colon cancer. If you want to increase your vitamin D levels you need to spend more time in the sun and consume foods which are naturally rich in this vitamin, like mushrooms.
Excessive alcohol intake is one of the major risk factors for this type of cancer, but of course, one or two drinks once in a while cannot hurt you. However, by regularly drinking excessive amounts, you will only increase the risk of cancer and numerous other health problems
5. Avoid processed foods
Processed foods are highly dangerous and significantly increase the risk of numerous ailments including colon cancer.
6. Overweight and obesity
To prevent colon cancer, maintaining a balanced weight is crucial because according to a study done in 2014, people whit overweight are more likely to get colon cancer.
7. Processed Meats
Processed meat products such as bacon, ham, burgers, salami, and pepperoni can be harmful to the health of one person and even though they taste great. But you should know that is the food that causes most cancer
The increasingly sedentary lifestyle in today’s society can reduce the risk of cancer by 30-40%. By staying physically active you will boost the blood flow and neutralize dangerous pathogens in the body. Effectively lowering the risk of cancer cell development. Additionally, exercising will also improve your immune system and prevent numerous ailments.

Due to lack of garlic in the diet, colon cancer may occur. And we know that garlic is a very healthy vegetable that possesses powerful antibacterial properties that can reduce the risk of cancer.
